These terms apply to GAINimals and this website, operated by Legitimate LLC. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Contact us through support.

Who it is for

GAINimals is intended for adults aged 18 and over. You are responsible for using the app and your device lawfully. We grant you a personal, limited, nonexclusive license to use the app and its features. The app, branding, and original animal artwork remain owned by Legitimate LLC or its licensors; you may share the cards the app creates for that purpose.

A game about showing up

Your animal’s growth, proportions, unlocks, and Gains Score are fictional game mechanics based on self-reported activity. They do not measure real muscle growth, physical health, or training quality. GAINimals is not medical advice, a training prescription, or a substitute for a qualified professional. Choose activity appropriate to your circumstances and stop if you feel unwell. You do not need to train through pain or skip recovery to play.

Your information and content

Keep your own copies of anything important. The current app stores history on your device without an account or cloud recovery. Deleting the app or losing your device may lose that data. You control the nickname and cards you share and should avoid sharing private information. Do not use the service to create unlawful, hateful, abusive, infringing, or harmful content, impersonate others, or disrupt the app or website.

Waitlist and availability

The waitlist permits GAINimals launch updates to your supplied email. It does not guarantee a launch date, availability in your region, specific features, or free access to future paid features. Current screens show a pre-release build. Features may change, and we may fix, update, limit, or discontinue parts of the service.

Plus and future purchases

Plus subscriptions are not currently sold in the TestFlight build. If introduced, digital purchases will be processed by Apple. The purchase screen will state the price, billing period, and included features. Any subscription renewal, cancellation, restoration, or refund is subject to the displayed terms and Apple’s applicable policies. You can manage Apple subscriptions in your Apple account settings. No payment is collected by joining this website’s waitlist.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains local app data, optional photos, sharing, website information, and your choices. New cloud or AI features will require updated disclosures and any required permissions before data is sent.

Service limits and legal rights

To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided as available, without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every expectation. We are not responsible for indirect losses caused by use of the service to the extent allowed by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies, or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
